Each year I eagerly await my return to the
Kenai Peninsula & the beautiful town of Soldotna, Alaska.
People often ask me why I want to return after four
years? My story goes like this!!!! As I arrive at
the airport, my adrenalin is pumping with the anticipation
of placing a rod in my hands & fishing on the Kenai River. I am
allowed two King Salmon (trophy fish) each year & I always achieve.
I'm convinced that this can only happen with Bo & staff. The skill
& knowledge these people have is due to the love of fishing! As I
start my first day out with Bo, he lets you know what will happen. He
guides you to a sweet fishing hole as everyone is eager to have that first
bite!!! Within thirty minutes I have my first & set the hook!!
Everyone starts to dance the salmon shuffle for the landing of my 65 LB
trophy. It just doesn't get any better than this!!! My true drive though
is bank fishing for the Sockeye Salmon however. Bo & staff guide us
for sockeye too, they truly are an awesome bunch to fish with. When Bo
gives me that big smile & signals its time to leave, I get a little
crazy with excitement!!! MY great friend Lowell is in Alaska every year
& helps Bo & staff guide some of the fishing trips. When I fish
for Sockeye Salmon I laugh with overwhelmed joy of all the fish I catch!!!
My friend Lowell laughs also for he thinks I'm a bit crazy!!! This is my
week of heaven in god's country where I'm naturally high & happy from
fishing on the Kenai. Bo, Staff & my great friend Lowell thanks for
the great escape to heaven you bring to me each year. See you in heaven
this July!!!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Paula Kechter
The year 2000 will be my 14th year fishing
with Bo. I fish king salmon every Saturday, from May thru July, with Bo on
the Kenai River. Bo and Leslie provide top of the line fishing gear, boats
and cabins. My success ratio for fishing days vs. catch days is phenomenal.
I have had hook and release years of over 2 king salmon per outing, with
some fish weighing over 70 pounds. What would you say to hook and release
9 king salmon in one day? Every trip with Bo is a great experience. He
knows the Kenai River like the back of his hand. We start fishing in May
when there is virtually no other fishermen to be seen. My wife and I have
hooked king salmon as early as May 7th. One of Bo's guides, Bill Davilla,
is in the same league as a top guide and very professional. he makes every
effort to insure your fishing enjoyment.

I have used Bo's Fishing Guide Service and
Lodging on many occasions over the last 7-8 years. I have been a paying
customer both personally and professionally. We've fished with Bo in a
group as small as two and as large as 20. In every instance it has been a
real treat and pleasure.
Bo and his staff know the river and what it takes to satisfy their clients
and have been very supportive in setting up activities outside of those
that they offer. As a matter of fact we are scheduled to bring 12 more
folks up in July of this year. I would recommend Bo's to anyone who is
interested in catching fish in Alaska.
Sincerely,

I first went to Alaska Fishing on a once in
a lifetime trip in 1996. Two more trips later I have to say that once I
met Bo and his family there was no way that one trip could ever do. Great
folks, first class facilities, beautiful country, and great fishing. Bo's
is without a doubt the best guide service I have ever used. I can not wait
to get back to Alaska again and Bo is the only person I will call! Or
option #2: Fantastic is the only way I can describe Bo's guide service.
Everything is first class, people, equipment, fishing, lodging, support,
you name it Bo's does it right. I experienced Alaska at it's finest thanks
to Bo and his family! Or option #3; Fishing with my family is how I feel
each time I go fishing with Bo and his family and staff. Bo's delivers
exactly what the brochure says and more. Wildlife, great fishing, first
class equipment and facilities, processing you catch, trust, and lots of
laughs. I only consider one fishing guide in Alaska and that is Bo's!

Just a quick line to say thanks for a great
time at your place. The fishing and accommodations were outstanding. The
best I've ever had. Thanks for the great company at dinner too. Looking
foreword to coming back next year.

Dear Bo,
We arrived in Vail with 100 pounds of halibut and salmon. All our
neighbors and friends were glad to see us. Thanks for a very successful
fishing trip. We caught fish everyday. We may not have set any records,
but 20 pounders on the Kasilof and 30 pounders on the Kenai is not too
bad. A 65 pound halibut wasn't bad either. Your staff was outstanding.
I've already recommend your guide service to some friends. When we go
again, your place will be at the top of our list.

Dear Bo,
I just received a call from my clients, Tom & Kathy Magnuson, and they raved about you!
Thanks for making their Alaska fishing excursion a memorable one. They
were very very happy with the service you provided them and they look forward to
doing it again in the future.
I will continue to recommend you to my Alaska fishing clients.
Thanks,

Bo,
I just wanted to thank you for everything that you did for me when
I visited you this July,2000. I would like to take this opportunity to
let everyone from your guide service and everyone that might read this,
that Bo and his crew are the Greatest. From the time I arrived at the
cabins, during fishing, and throughout my stay with you, you took
tremendous care of our every need. We got the opportunity to fish with
Bill, Monty, Luke, and of course Bo. They all are more than fishing
guides, they are nice people. They knew how important this vacation
was to us, and it showed. BO arranged for us to go Red fishing with his
equipment and a personal guide. We really appreciate it. Bo also
arranged for my fish to be mounted, the taxidermist was waiting for us
as soon as I got off the boat. I did learn a couple of things from Bo,
you fish with a fishing rod not a fishing pole!! And don't turn your
back on your rod because Bo might grab & shake it, and give you a heart attack!!
Thank You Very Much
I'll be back
